Justin Bieber Will Take A DNA Test To Prove He Is Not The Father Of Mariah Yeater's Baby

Last Wednesday, we heard about how a 20-year-old girl named Mariah Yeater from California filed a paternity suit against Justin Bieber, in which she named him as the father of her three-month-old son and insisted that he "provide adequate support" for his child. Yeater also insisted Bieber submit to a paternity test to "scientifically confirm" that the newborn is his own. Bieber spent the rest of the week telling anyone who would listen that the kid wasn't his, and his representatives even issued a statement saying they would "vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations." For a while it was unclear whether or not Bieber's lawyers were recommending that the pop star even dignify the allegations with some of his saliva or blood, but now we've learned Bieber does, in fact, plan to take a DNA test to clear his name.

TMZ reports Bieber’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, reached out to Yeater’s attorneys and indicated his client was going to part with some of his DNA once he returned to the states in two weeks. Furthermore, Weitzman revealed that once Bieber proves he’s not the father or Yeater’s baby, he would then begin the process of suing her because Bieber and his team "think it's important...to show there are consequences when somebody trumps up phony, hurtful allegations against a celebrity." This, apparently, made Yeater’s lawyer’s “nervous.” And Bieber should MOST DEFINITELY sue her! It's a much better way of making some money than trying to convince everyone that you are a seventeen year old and purple is your favorite color.
